Empowering Families- is an evening program for 6th-8th grade students and their caregivers focusing on substance abuse prevention. This interactive evening provides families with an opportunity to learn about substance abuse prevention while developing and enhancing positive communication and decision making skills.
Empowering Families is sponsored by Youth and Family Services, the Glastonbury Police Department, and Glastonbury Public Schools. The program is run twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring.
