Ginger Katz will speak at Glastonbury High School on Wednesday April 15, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
The Courage to Speak Foundation, Inc. was founded by Ginger Katz in an effort to foster open communication about the prevention of alcohol and other drug abuse among young people. Ginger has been inspired to speak out by the untimely death of her son from a drug overdose. Since 1996, she has given over 1000 presentations nationally to thousands of student and their parents.

Empowering Families will be held at Smith Middle School on Tuesday April 28, 2009 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Empowering Families is an evening program for 6th - 8th grade students and their caregivers focusing on substance abuse prevention.
