Q: Is there a senior nutritional lunch program?
A: Yes, the Glastonbury Senior Center offers a nutritional lunch program Monday through Friday. The lunch is served at the Riverfront Community Center which is located at 300 Welles Street. Lunch is served at noon. Advance reservations are required and can be made by calling 860-652-7651 by noon, one business day prior to the desired luncheon.
Additionally, The Riverfront Cafe is open Monday through Friday from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm and offers a selection of soups, sandwiches and salads. This venue is a great option for people who have forgotten to make a reservation for the hot lunch program; are looking for a lighter option or are busy and want a lunch to go.
