Fuel / Utility Programs
The Social Services Department administers several Energy/Fuel Assistance Programs to assist local households with their winter heating or utility service needs. The department serves as an intake site for the statewide Energy Assistance Program between October and April of each year. Benefit applications are accepted for the Operation Fuel Program between December - May, annually, while the local Fuel Bank operates on a year-round basis. Any resident experiencing difficulties with fuel or utility needs should contact the Social Services Department to discuss these issues and the eligibility requirements for each program.
